Semesterd'

The Fall 2008 semester is now mostly over, all that remains are the final exams - Marcoeconomics and Operating Systems. At grades are looking decent, with an A in Intro to Persuasion all but guaranteed, and a possible A, but if not an A then a B+ in Intro to Software Engineering. I'm figuring I'll have a B in both Macroeconomics and Operating Systems.

I uninstalled Fallout 3 in preparation for studying for Macroeconomics. It's extremely tempting to do something other than watch those lectures, such as watch YouTube videos or play any kind of game in which I can gain virtual experience. Unfortunately, I slept for the majority of the day, so I'll be catching up with my lectures in the following hours.

I also need to head back to the gym, now that I've finally gotten a refill on my medications (I had run out on Wednesday), and the side effects of the steroids from before have mostly dissapeared.

Last time, on Life...

Yet another neglected blog. Well, as long as I post once a year, it's not abandoned. Since the last post (prior to that test a moment ago), here's what has transpired:

- Passed Data Structures with a B, Computer Organization with a C, and dropped Circuits as though it's thermal readings were off the charts. Major was changed to CSE, which is Comp Sci within the Engineering Dept.

- First non-Caucasian president! Barack Obama won the presidency on Nov. 4, 2008 against a sickening GOP campaign to make him look like a dangerous terrorist-loving wants-to-teach-4-year-olds-about-the-cock inexperienced threat against America. In retrospect, I really should have blogged all the stuff I was thinking during the dozens of hours I spent following the campaign.

- The economy has gone to shit. $700b bailout for some banks. I'd be happy with even .001% of that money.

- My parents and I had a tussle over my remaining time here at UF. Things got straightened out, though. I'd been unclear about how many credits I have here, which justifiably angered them.

I can't recall any more events worth mentioning at the moment, but they'll come to me eventually. As for what's happening now, I'm about to finish the semester with pretty decent grades. Details to come later, because as usual, I'm blogging mainly because I'm procrastinating. Now to make me a Nutella sammich (for the 3rd time today).

Oh, and I'm on damn antibiotics and steroids again. I was pumped (gym-wise) for a while, but then got sick and lost a lot of it.

In the event of a real emergency...

I'm testing out this software called "ScribeFire", so this is a test before I get all bloggie up in this bitch.
